So this is my first ever tutorial. I guess it’s really a test tutorial because I’ve no idea how to photograph makeup.
No idea whatsoever as you’re about to witness.
This tutorial is really simple.
Please excuse the complete DERP face on the right! 🙂
PRODUCTS USED :
Face prep –
Garnier micellar water.
Estée Lauder day time moisturiser.
Maybelline baby skin primer.
Guerlain Parure De Lumiere
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
Urban Decay Naked Basics
Deep red/burgandy pigment (unknown brand)
Maybelline Diamond Glow Quad in 02 Coral Drama.
Estee Lauder mascara, black.
Using the colour ‘Limit’ from the UD Naked 3 palette, sweep this over your entire lid and blend up.
Take the bronze coral colour from the Maybelline Diamond Glow Quad and sweep on the outer V of the eye, blending into the eye crease and ever so slightly above, if you have a large area like I do!. Keep the colour mainly on the outer & upper third.
Take your burgundy pigment..I apologise for not knowing the name! I’ve had mine about 3 years…I do believe it was a smashed eyeshadow (possibly essence) that I crushed and put in a travel pot! I’m devastated I can’t remember the name as it’s my favourite eye shadow in the entire world!
Using your Burgandy Pigment, place in the outer V to deepen the colour and gently drag the colour in your outer crease. Keep it below the upper crease so there is a distinction between the coral and burgundy.
Using the same Burgandy Pigment and a liner brush, drag the colour down and under your lower lashes.
Take a fluffy brush and BLEND BLEND BLEND the coral & burgundy together.
Take ‘Crave’ from the Naked Basics palette (or another matte black) and create a small triangle in the outer V, blend inwards and into the crease to create a little drama.
Using the same matte back and a small liner brush, drag the black a third of the way in the lower lash line.
Using ‘Venus’ from the Naked Basics, highlight that brow bone girl!!
Add your mascara and you are DONE!
